Spoq releases his work „Cozy Needles“ filled with no less than 30 tracks of amazingly versatile fine electronic music. The name of the album basicly says what it's all about. It is full of edgy IDM, Trip Hop, Ambient and uncategorizable noise. Sometimes the music is meditative, reflective, sometimes driving and often full of rhythm. A lot of tracks reveal the pleasure of the artist to deconstruct common sounds and harmonies and put the shards together into something new. We hear a lot of stings and glitches, pinches...acoustic needles...but for those with an open mind it all results in pure listening delight. Spoq's motto is: „I make music. That's *mostly* pleasant.“
