about

Spoq arrives with an amazing new album. „Cheers“ is complex deep electronic music as its best. The 14 tracks containing longplayer can be best described as a mix of IDM, Trip Hop with elements of movie scores, house hold appliances and indie post rock. Sounds like something that doesn’t go together? It does surprisingly well! Despite the obviously very digital production, all of the tracks have an analogue feel integrating synthesizers, noises and real, sampled, chopped instruments. Wolfram Gruss (PNFA), the mind behind Spoq, describes this project humbly as the soundtrack of his life. As unpretentious and edgy this music is at first sight, it has a truely emotional impact the further you listen into it. „Cheers“ is a roller coaster, sometimes crazy fun, often very moody , complicated and melancholic and it gets better everytime you listen to.

about

Spoq Aschaffenburg, Germany

Sweet, but bites.

Spoq is genre bridging electronic music made by Wolfram Gruss from Aschaffenburg, Germany. Slightly experimental, sometimes quirky, occasionally overly dramatic, but most of the time pretty chill.
